Flash Shoe Mount Adapter is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what advertised, junk I ordered this flash shoe adapter, the description says is made out of machined aluminum, and what I got was a cheap plastic adapter with a brass threaded insert, it does not fit the description, and it doesn't look anything like the picture on the web site at all.Definitely not worth $$, I have seen this flash shoe adapter in many other sites selling for $3.99 or less.I have purchased many items from B & H in the past and I always got items that fit de description and quality advertised in the web site.I'm sorry but this item does not deserve more than one star. The one star rating is for the fast delivery and the fact that it is a flash shoe adapter.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Using for custom flash bracket In general, this is a very sturdy item that holds my heavy Nikon SB-25 strobe. However, I found that I needed to insulate the contacts of the strobe from the metal plate in order to prevent the flash from misfiring. Also the metal plate with the small tension spring clips can easily come loose and fall out. This needed to be secured by some sticky-tack.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Will fire flash Works as advertised, but needs a bit of electrical tape to insulate a flash from firing as soon as you plug it in. Very solid piece and fits snugly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't work propertly I try to setup a Canon 580EX II with it, and I was in serious troubles. First, the contacts of flash collide with the shoe mount and is imposible to fully insert it on this. Second, the flash get in short circuit and don't work. Bad purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dot Line Flash Shoe Mount Adapter Have been looking for a traditional flash and accessory shoe adapter, here in the UK, which is of the non hot shoe type and with an end stop, for a special project. These adapters are nicely polished and engineered and meet all my particular requirements, so I am very pleased with them. By design, they are obviously not suitable for people requiring use with hot shoe flash units.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple and Effective I use it to mount cold accessories to my camera rig. It's nice and sturdy, built mostly of metal so far as I can tell. I did end up having to file down one of the entry corners just a little, so build quality is slightly lacking.
