Some have used C-stands like this one to hold a single roll of seamless paper, particularly in the smaller 2ft or 4.5 ft widths while being secured with standard spring clamp. If your intention is to hold multiple background at one time, you may be better off getting a background support which offers an adjustable cross and which can hold different types of backgrounds. The Kupo 40" Riser C-Stand Turtle Base Kit (Black, 9.7') can work very well with the Godox LA300R. It fits directly to the end of the arm. The best would be to get a counterweight for the arm, like BH #IMSBFO5 (https://bhpho.to/4kuPVIo), and a sandbag for the bottom of the C-stand, BH #IMSBFCS25 (https://bhpho.to/3TjNNHq).
