Providing a complete follow focus unit with accessories and a protective hard case, the OConnor CFF-1 Cine Follow Focus Pro Kit includes a Cine One Follow focus for both studio 15mm and 19mm rod setups, with an LWS 15mm rod bridge for using the included CFF-1 on handheld rigs. The unit is reversible, so you can mount it on either side of the lens, and it slides horizontally to adjust for lens diameter.
The kit includes drive gears for use with lenses that feature geared rings, as well as a non-toothed drive gear for use with lenses without a geared focus ring. The kit also includes a handwheel extension that provides clearance for the assistant side of the follow focus unit to clear optional studio matte boxes. The included focus whip (flexible extension) allows your assistant to pull focus when they are not able to be right next to the camera. It includes an isolator handle for two-handed operation, and optional flexible extensions can be daisy-chained for extra length. The case is airtight and watertight with a pressure relief valve and features custom-cut high-density foam to protect your equipment.
The OConnor Cine Follow Focus One eliminates juggling of separate bridge plates, and attaches onto either 15mm or 19mm studio rod systems. The operator can switch between the 2 standards comfortably, and its low clearance enables the follow focus to work with large diameter lenses such as the Angenieux 24-290mm, Red 18-85mm, Fujinon 18-85mm, and Fujinon 75-400mm. The follow focus is compatible with accessories such as whips, gears, and cranks.
Numerous mounting options for specialty setups are possible as the main bridge slides independent of the support bridge dovetail. The swing arm of the Cine Follow Focus One can be mounted on either side of the bridge for better integration with all lens and matte box configurations. The horizontal sliding makes it easy for the user to adjust the focus drive gear for a clear line of sight. Eccentric adjustments on handwheels allow flexible positioning, and the custom-cut, low-runout gears (Minimal Backlash Mechanism) ensure high accuracy.
Designed to carry the components of a follow focus system, the Pelican Storm Case with Custom-Cut High Density Foam for CFF-1 from OConnor features custom-cut high density foam that carries your CFF follow focus unit and its accessories. The case is injection-molded of HPX high performance resin that is dent- and shatter-resistant. It is tough, rugged, lightweight, while being both air and watertight. The permanently attached pressure relief valve adjusts air pressure without letting in water, allowing the case to equalize with the outside air pressure, without the risk of water entering through the valve and won't unscrew from the case.
Press & Pull latches secure the case and require you to push a button to open the latches, yet stay closed securely under impact or stress. The case has molded-in hasps that allow you to use a full-sized padlock. It has hinges with integrated feet that hold fast under impact, and create a flat surface for upright stability. It is carried by a double-layered, soft-grip, solid-core handle that provides strong, durable comfort.

The OConnor Gear Friction Driver is designed to replace the standard drive gear for an OConnor Follow Focus. The Gear Fiction Driver has a smooth rubber tread. Friction drive is particularly well suited to video shooters who use lenses designed for still cameras, which typically do not have geared adjustment rings.
The OConnor LWS Rod Bridge (15mm) is an accessory for the Cine Follow Focus CFF-1. You can use the LWS Rod Bridge with 15mm rods. It can also be used as a substitute for the snap-on bridge that is a part of the CFF-1.
The OConnor CFF-1 Handwheel Extension is used to extend the distance between the handwheel and the follow focus bridge coupling. Its tapered flanks allow you to seamlessly integrate and stack several extensions to the follow focus setup without any slack in the linkages.
For quick focus pulls on optional follow focus units, a speed crank is often the tool of choice. The OConnor Speed Crank for the the CFF-1 fits industry standard follow focus sockets and incorporates a female socket at the end, allowing you to leave the speed crank mounted to your follow focus unit and attach optional accessories such as a focus whip.
The speed crank features a spring-loaded locking ball, which secures the speed crank in the optional follow focus unit's handwheel socket. The speed crank is made from aluminum and weighs about two ounces.
Often referred to as a "whip" in the industry, the OConnor Flexible Extension Shaft for Follow Focus allows you to pull focus on your follow focus unit from a distance. The whip consists of a flexible shaft, handwheel, and an isolator handgrip; each unit has male and female socket ends, allowing you to interlock the components together and daisy-chain optional extension shafts or speed cranks.
The shaft fits into industry standard sized sockets on your follow focus, provides a tactile connection to your follow focus unit, and transmits up to 20 foot-pounds of torque in either direction before buckling, so you can use it to drive stiff lenses. You can use the extension shaft straight on, or off to the side, as it will bend slightly and still allow you to adjust focus. The included handwheel snaps into the female receiver on the extension shaft for single-handed operation, or you can connect the isolator handle between the handwheel and shaft for two hand operation.
