For wirelessly miking woodwind, brass, or percussive instruments, the Shure ULX UHF Wireless Instrument Kit from B&H is effective and easy to use. It consists of a ULX1 bodypack transmitter, an ULXP4 receiver, and a BETA 98H/C clip-on instrument microphone. The kit is tuned to Shure's G3 frequency band between 470 and 505 MHz and features for auto frequency scan to help tune to the clearest channel available.
