Great value

I use a flash often when taking picture of birds, etc. This flash is more powerful and has greater flexibility than my Canon 430 unit. Seamless integration with my 77D and the firmware is easily updated - unlike my Sigma flash that worked with my 7D but not with my 77D. If you need a large powerful flash this is the one to buy.

This speedlight is powerful, solidly made, easy to use and competitively priced with high end units. And it’s MADE IN GERMANY.

It’s my favorite brand of flash. I’ve have two of these now and just bought one to fit my Canon camera. Only complaint is the diffuser melts faster than the Canon equivalent but the Metz is more powerful by about one f/stop.

This flash has a great amount of power. It's one of my favorite flashes to use. Use Lithium batteries because it really drains standard alkaline batteries in no time.

Another great deal on Deal Zone... I personally find this to be better than the Nikon and Canon brand... The Metz technology is superb... results are perfect shots... No regrets whatsoever!

Do I need to purchase any "trigger" to use this flash with Panasonic S1H?

What you can use is two of the Cactus Wireless Flash Transceiver V6 II, B&H# CACACV6II. One unit would transmit from the camera and the other will receive the signal when attached to the Metz flash. https://bhpho.to/3cBn5n2

question

I've always thought metz makes quality flashes. The biggest reason I haven't bought one is the slow recycle time at full power. Not needed often, but when you need it, you need it. Has this model improved the recycle time for 4xAA batteries over the previous model? Thanks! P
Asked by: Anonymous
The recycle time at full power with alkaline AA batteries on the Metz Mecablitz 64 AF-1 is four seconds.

question

Is this TTL compatible with the Panasonic FZ1000? Is there a good quality off camera coiled flash cord available?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, the TTL capability of the Metz Mecablitz 64 AF-1 will work with a Panasonic FZ1000. Unfortunately, there is no off camera flash cord that will be compatible with this flash and camera.

question

HiIs their an adapter to use this flash on Nikon (as well as M4/3)?
Asked by: Anonymous
The Metz Mecablitz 64 AF-1 digital Flash for Olympus/Panasonic Cameras is only compatible for use with Four Thirds and Micro Four Thirds cameras. It would not be compatible for Nikon cameras, as Nikon and Four Thirds/Micro Four Thirds cameras use different pin configurations and do not use the same TTL system. If you need the Metz Mecablitz 64 AF-1 digital Flash for Nikon Cameras, then B&H # ME64AF1N would be the correct option for use with the Nikon DSLR cameras. http://bhpho.to/1AZYXQr
