Well-suited for small-scale work either in a studio or on location, this 5 x 9' Wrinkle-Resistant Background from Savage features a chroma key green color so you can easily isolate your subject during post-processing. It has a matte finish designed to not fade even under direct lights, and offers a sewn-in pocket that runs across the entire top of the fabric so that an optional mounting rod can be inserted. Made of polyester, the backdrop can be washed in a machine with mild detergent and tumble dried on low, and any wrinkles can be removed by simply ironing or steaming it.

Is the fabric transparent?
If the background is set up in front of a very bright light source, like a window on a sunny day, you may see some transparency. If that happens to me on location, I simply meter the ambient light and select an aperture/shutter speed combination which will work. Since the main light is coming from strobes, it is rare to have contamination from an ambient light source.
