The DJI Lightbridge 2.4G Full HD Video Downlink and Zeiss Cinemizer Bundle is put together by B&H to provide a first-person way to view footage from a UAV-mounted camera. The Lightbridge features ground- and air-end transceiver hardware that unifies the video downlink with an OSD (on-screen data) overlay as well as relays the control signal from the transmitter (hand-held radio controller) back to the aircraft. The system is supported by octorotor aircraft with WooKong-M or Naza-M V2 flight control systems, and can also be installed in a Phantom 2 in which the original receiver has been replaced with a 5.8 GHz receiver.
The Cinemizer OLED Glasses from Zeiss, meanwhile, look like opaque sunglasses but really house two 870 x 500 resolution screens that simulate a 40"-diagonal image viewed from about 6'. They feature HDMI and composite AV inputs, and can support many 3D signals as well as 2D (the Lightbridge air unit will not mux a 3D signal).
Note: This system operates on 2.4 GHz and should not be installed in aircraft with 2.4 GHz receivers. Doing so may cause interference with the control signal, causing the aircraft to become inoperable. For more information on the items in this bundle, please follow the links below.
