Senal AWS-2000 Overview

From Manufacturer

The Senal AWS-2000-B is a wireless system designed to provide a durable, reliable, and lightweight solution for high-quality wireless audio transmission for ENG, interviews, film production, conferences, theater, and more. Setup of the dual-antenna, camera-mountable, true diversity receiver and beltpack transmitter is effortless due to the one-touch scan and sync feature. Time won’t be wasted trying to find out how to configure the system; its menus are user-friendly, easy to navigate, and easy to read via the top-mounted, high-contrast OLED displays.

With 1280 tunable frequencies across 32 MHz, the AWS-2000-B is able to quickly lock onto a solid channel with automatic scan and sync via a simple press of a button. By incorporating a true diversity design with two independent receiver circuits, the system effectively eliminates dropouts and interference. For additional protection against RF interference, utilize the integrated pilot tone and three-level squelch. The selectable mic/line input, variable RF power output, and flexible volume controls enable further optimization of the signal. The 3.5mm headphone jack allows you to easily monitor your signal.

The rugged, metal-bodied components can be powered by AA batteries or USB connection. The system ships with batteries, antennas, mounting options, cables, and a carrying case.

One-Touch Scan and Sync
Simply press the receiver's AFS button to automatically and quickly scan the frequency spectrum and sync to the transmitter via IR connection
True Diversity Receiver
Two independent receiver circuits utilize their own antennas to deliver consistently strong signal void of RF interference, while a comparison circuit reduces dropouts through continuous receiver monitoring and signal selection
Top-Mounted OLED Displays
High-contrast OLED displays offer a wider viewing angle than LCDs, are easy to see, and are top-mounted on the receiver and transmitter for obstruction-free visibility even when configured in bags or when piggy backed using the included dual mounting bracket
Comprehensive Display
The OLED displays always show vital information including channel/frequency, name, levels, and battery life
System Battery Life Indication
The receiver displays battery life for both the receiver and the transmitter
LED Indicators
Easy-to-see LEDs indicate RF signal and peak status
User-Friendly Menu System
The menu system was designed for minimal navigation and maximum efficiency, allowing fast access to essential functions
Efficient Feature Accessibility
Quickly access many of the system's functions via the buttons without having to dig deep into menus
Selectable Mic/Line Input
Choose line-level signal for compatibility with an external mixer or playback source or select mic-level signal when using a mic such as a lavalier or headset
Variable RF Power Output
Two power output levels — low for battery-saving, close-range operation, and high for wide-area, far-range operation — enable optimization for your situation
Balanced Output
By incorporating a balanced output, the system is able to take advantage of common mode rejection to achieve a stronger signal level with less noise
Headphone Output
Quickly check for signal presence and quality by connecting headphones directly to the receiver's 3.5mm headphone jack
Versatile Volume Control
Use the volume control to adjust the output level or the headphone volume via a simple built-in toggle function
Pilot Tone and Squelch
The pilot tone control and three-level squelch enable you to maintain the integrity of your audio and avoid bothersome interference
Device Names
Name each component for easy identification; the name will sync between the receiver and transmitter
Convenient Power Options
Power the transmitter and receiver via included AA batteries, rechargeable NiMH batteries (available separately), or USB connection, and conveniently recharge batteries via USB
