Pyle Pro PRJD907 overview

  • 1Description

The PRJD907 2000 Lumen LED Projector from Pyle Pro features an LED lamp that, because it doesn't burn out the way tungsten filaments do, is estimated to last 50,000 hours. With a native resolution of 800 x 480 and a native aspect ratio of 15:9, the projector is able to accept signals up to 1920 x 1080 (Full HD). For connection to Blu-ray disc players, DVRs, receivers, computers, and other HDTV devices there is an HDMI input. In addition, there is a 3-RCA component input and well as a composite RCA input for analog devices such as DVD players and SD camcorders. Finally, for computers analog graphics adapters - in particular many laptops - there is a VGA input.

In addition to the video inputs, a USB 2.0 type-A female port allows you to connect a flash drive or other USB storage device and show images or play video or audio directly from the projector. Supported file types include MP4, AVI, MOV, WMA, MP3, JPG, PNG, and more. The projector also supports audio output through its built-in speakers, for those times when a separate audio system is unavailable.

The PRJD907 can operate directly using top-panel buttons, and many settings can also be adjusted using the included remote control. It also includes a VGA cable, RCA cable, and a lens dust cover.

2,000 Lumens Lamp
A single LED lamp provides 2,000 lumens brightness in Normal mode, and is estimated to last 50,000 hours. To determine the ideal brightness level for your application, you will need to take into account the screen width, distance from the projector to the screen (throw distance), amount of ambient light near the screen, and the reflectivity (gain) of the screen surface used
15:9 Native Aspect Ratio
This projector features a 15:9 native aspect ratio. This is considered a widescreen format, and comes very close to the 16:9 standard of HDTV. The projector can show 4:3 too SD content as well - in this case black bars will have to be applied (pillaring), or the image will have to be stretched or cropped to fit
Supports 50 to 140" Diagonal Image Size
Depending on where the projector is placed in relation to the screen or projection surface, as well as the amount of ambient light present in the room, this projector features a recommended image size of 50 to 140" diagonal

    Pyle Pro PRJD907 reviews

PRJD907 2000 Lumen LED Projector is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exactly what I wanted I have yet only used it once but it was great. As others have said yes the fan is loud but its expected at this price point. I used it inside and am planning many movies in the yard this summer so I know I will need to get an extra speaker. It gets a 4 star because there is a very bright blue light that is somewhat distracting but only because we had to sit next to it viewing inside. When we are outside and don't have to sit next to the projector I am sure it will be fine. It is light and looks cute.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Inexpensive but effective Just got this projector. I used it inside for a church presentation. Dimming the lights allowed the image to be seen alright. The optics are very minimal/basic. The color was better than I expected. The inexpensive price had me wondering if the projector would even work. I'm satisfied. My brother who saw it in operation wants to get one to replace his old projector that is failing. The long bulb life is a strong draw. It's image is very poor compared to my Panasonic PT-VX510U.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Satisfied with the product, but has some edging issues Considering the circumstances this product is placed within, I am actually impressed with it. I am using it in a small church with some ambient lighting. It is used against a white dry-erase board. Images aren't too shabby, and using an HDMI cable for the connection proved the audio wasn't bad either. At 2000 lumens against the light that comes through the windows, the projector actually does well. The one issue I have is that the image seems to fade around the corners. I even saw this when testing the unit in complete darkness. So you get more of a circle view instead of the full rectangle that represents your screen. Consider if you had a rectangle and tossed a circle in it; the circle part is what you see, the remaining parts of the rectangle are what you would not see. So with this idea, you can see that some of your screen will not be visible. Still, it is my first projector, and I figure the environment is not the best for it, so I am not overly displeased with the project. I am quite impressed with the variety of inputs the projector has: HDMI, USB, VGA, and Component. That gives a lot of options, which is very good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from JUNK ! You get what you pay for. Screen image is dim and blurry at 10feet. Keystone adj is mechanical. Has mounting holes in the base (only 2 feet holes have metal threaded inserts) and shows a ceiling mount in the owners manual. However, the flip to invert the image is grayed out on the setup screen. Pyle doesn't give a customer service number in the literature or their website so this should tell you a lot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality for the price With 2000 lumens for a bit over $$this is a good deal. No zoom, limited key stone, but all basic functions make this a good simple projector

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty Good for the Price I'll point out that my sole reason for buying this projector was to use for Halloween effects, so my requirements were pretty basic. I like that is has a variety of connections, doesn't weigh much and uses an LED light source so I shouldn't have to worry about replacing lamps. The things that aren't great, but I can live with: It's pretty loud. I know that's subjective like a hair dryer on low-med. If it were in the same room and I was watching a movice, it would be distracting. It does put out some heat. Even with an LED, it blows hot air and a small room will heat up. The keystone correction is minimal and only corrects on the vertical axis, so if the projector is off to the side, there is no correction. Supposed to work with some USB storage media, but I couldn't get it to recognize any of my various thumb drives. At about 12-15 feet from the 'screen', brightness is adequate in a dim room. Having no zoom lens means moving the projector around to fill the 'screen' space. In my opinion, the image quality isn't great, and neither is the contrast. Don't think that this will replace your flat screen TV. But it works well for projecting SFX and I'm very happy to have a viable option at such a reasonable price point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For the $$$. Great! using this projector outside for Halloween props. Yes it's covered but it's been outdoors all months. Great quality and plenty bright.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great value installed in shoestring home theater. great picture. simple set-up. affordably priced. i've purchsed numerous projectors with client budgets and usually spend five times what this cost. i have not missed any of the features this basic model lacks.
