Will this allow you to view different content on each display, or will it mirror?

The StarTech DVI-D Male to Dual DVI-D Female Video Splitter Cable (1', Black) BH #STDVISPL1DD is a splitter, splitters only offer mirroring. If you want extended displays you need 2 dedicated video outputs on your system.
