The short, silver Leica Ball Head 18 is a compact head ideally suited for tabletop tripods or other camera supports with a 1/4"-20 threaded stud. It is 3.3" high, has a load capacity of 15.4 lb, and weighs just 8.1 oz. A large locking knob controls the movement of the ball, and a 90° notch allows you to easily switch from landscape to portrait modes.

Great finish , very easy to work and adjust . Very expensive for the size but that's how leica is ... nice size to carry with Leica's small tripod
This with the tripod stand works great. Easy to set up and rock solid stability. Pricey but it is well designed and made.
