This statement seems a bit misleading since the studio camera would need a SDI to Optical converter to use the sfp module?
The Blackmagic Design 6G SFP Optical Module (B&H# BLAD6GBDOM) is but one component of a larger system that might be used for communication between devices (among them, cameras) when wanting to send a signal over a long distance. The mention of devices such as cameras, converters, ATEMs, and so on is surely not intended by the manufacturer to imply that they necessarily have in-built SFP ports but only the types of equipment that one might be using in a case where such a module might also be utilized.
