An unexpected necessity!

Didn’t know I needed this thing.. bought it on a whim. Used it for the first time yesterday and was worth it’s weight in gold. Needed to thread a lav wire through a tight blouse of an elderly lady who was not too keen on being touched. This thing did the trick and made the mic’ing her up a breeze. Only thing to look out for is to use caution as you unwrap the coil… it’ll slap someone in the face if you’re not paying attention. The bag it comes with is nice, but maybe a tad small for the actual unit.. you’ll have to coil it up very tightly and that seems to put stress on the corners and zipper. I could expect the bag to wear out before too long, but no real worries. I have a lav bullet in my kit which serves well, but i would recommend having both in the kit as the wire is great for tight clothing or very specific placement. Would definitely buy this thing again if needed!

Good item

Haven't had a chance to use it yet but when I need to run a mic to an angle strap I'm sure it will come in very handy. No more trying to wiggle it through tight cloths or sending people to the rest room to try to do it themselves.
