The Follow Focus Pro from Digital Juice can be used left- or right-handed with a wide range of lens lengths and diameters. It's a clamp-on unit allowing quick-release mounting on dual 15mm rods, and it offers integrated hard stops for quick focus racking between two focus points. The drive gear features a 0.8 pitch, which is directly compatible with cinema lenses, and an adjustable 0.8 gear belt is included for using still photo lenses.
The clamp-on design allows easy mounting on either side of the camera for left- or right-handed operation. At the same time the drive gear can be inserted in front or back to accommodate long and short lenses. The top portion is horizontally adjustable to match up to lenses of different diameters. Two integrated hard stops allow you to set two focus points prior to the shoot and turn the focus wheel between these points in production. This allows accurate focusing and prevents overcranking of the lens. An erasable marking disk is included for initially marking the two points. An industry standard focus whip socket is available on the focus wheel for optional focus whips to be used by an assistant.
