Can you use the XLR input and 1/4 inch input of the same input at the same time and have them sum to a single output?
Asked by: Mason
Either the XLR or 1/4" input connectors can be used for balanced or unbalanced connections to the dbx AFS2 Dual-Channel Advanced Feedback Suppression Processor. Using both inputs on a channel at the same time is not recommended because it could unbalance balanced lines, cause phase cancellation, short a conductor to ground, or cause damage to other equipment that is connected to the AFS2. Therefore, it is best to use only one input connector per channel.
