The NVIDIA Quadro K2200 Professional Graphics Card from PNY Technologies provides the API support and parallel processing performance required for modeling and DDC applications that involve rendering 3D graphics. The processing power can also be harnessed for other computationally intensive tasks, such as transcoding video or data analysis. It features 640 CUDA Cores, which are general purpose stream processors that not only render display graphics, they also allow dozens of computations to be performed simultaneously. To help move data in and out of the core as efficiently as possible, there is 4GB of GDDR5 RAM over a 128-bit memory interface. All told, the card delivers a memory bandwidth of 80 GB/s.
For connection to computer monitors, HDTVs, projectors, 4K and 3D displays, and more the card features two DisplayPort and one DVD-I dual-link output. The DisplayPort ouputs features DP 1.2 compatibility for use with 4K displays or connecting multiple screens using an MST hub, and can support HDMI 1.4 as well as HDCP when using a separately available adapter. Through the DVI-I output it is also possible to connect legacy VGA devices using the included VGA adapter. A DisplayPort to DVI-D SL is also included.
