The IndiPRO Tools D-Tap to LP-E6 Dummy Battery Cable allows you to power LP-E6 compatible devices from a D-Tap power source. The cable regulates the 12-18V input voltage range of D-Tap sources to deliver a 7.2V output to your device via the dummy battery. The cable runs 30" long.

I bought two of these in 2019. They were used for several wedding shoots. Then I didn't use them for several years. Next time I went to use therm - one failed as a short-circuit to the D-tap connector. Thankfully my IDX batteries have short-circuit protection on the D-tap output so they were not damaged. Although the failed unit lasted 7 years, it was used very infrequently - probably had fewer than 50 hours on it total. Since I am one of several who have experienced failures, it seems that IndiPRO may have some quality/reliability problems with this model.
Failed during the first shoot I used it on while plugged into an edelkrone headone motor. The Kandor Blue version of this adapter did not fail, while this one did, during the same shoot.
