ProTactic 450 AW Camera and Laptop Backpack (Black) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 187.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Can't access 70-200 from top. Super nice pack would have been perfect if I could have had a 70-200L attached to the camera and accessed it from the top. Unfortunately the pack will not accommodate it. The access doors on the side interfere with moving the deviders far enough to accommodate the 70-200L lens attached to the camera. It will accommodate the set up if you access it from one of the sides. Nice thing about this pack is it doesn't look big but is good sized inside. Love the Idea of the main compartment zipper location. no chance of a zipper failure that would end up with gear on the ground.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bag!!! I just returned from a 2+ week safari trip to Kenya and Tanzania. Obviously, it was important that I be able to carry a lot of my photo gear to capture the sights. But my bag had to be compact and easy to carry. The ProTactic 450 was the ideal solution. Big enough to carry my D4s with 70-200, 24-70, 12-24, 10.5 fisheye, two flashes, my MacBook Air and iPad, plus a bunch of accessories. And all of it is easy to access from the top, side or back. Even when loaded down with 25 lbs. of gear it was comfortable to wear. The ProTactic is durable and well build just like all of the LowePro bags I've owned in the past. The bag could not have been more perfect!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic bag! Finally! I have used every bag. I have found none that just 'fit' my gear perfectly..until now! Finally a bag that just works. Very deep and spacious. I was using the Think Tank Airport Takeoff rolling bag before but the dividers just didn't fit my gear right. I'm shooting with two pro bodies, a 70-200mm, 24-70, 14-24 and two speedlights. I also have the usual pack of batteries, memory cards, triggers etc.. My only complaint would be the inside pockets are quite small. Just barely fits your small items like memory cards etc.. I wish these were constructed larger. Other wise this bag is great!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I have some issues with the bag. I bought this bag a few months ago to transport my camera body and a few lenses with me while I travel. The exterior of the bag is perfect, it is extremely functional and designed perfectly. My issue comes from the inside of the bag. The lack of customization with the velcro dividers is extremely frustrating. Not only does the velcro not stick well letting my equipment slide around all over the place but when it does stick it does not provide enough room for a Canon 5D mark iii and a blackrapid strap. My 70-200 2.8 can only fit laying across the horizontal opening where it floats around with no padding for an inch on all sides. I would love a hard plastic interior that gave a bit more structure to the organization.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rugged, with a rough touch Don't get me wrong, the backpack's design and make are topnotch. There isn't anything wrong or poorly designed. It's simply that I've yet to find a backpack that has the right compartment options. It'd probably gotten that last star if it came packed with an additional larger Velcro compartment strip for more flexible grouping. The outside is excellent. I feel my equipment is secure and safe. There are enough outer pockets and add-ons that are just really cool. Big plus points.All-in-all I like it, I just have yet to find the perfect configuration. But this one is really good, and I don't regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally. I've been through a lot of bags over the years (I have a small collection of Tenba, Lowepro, Tamrac, and Kata bags that just kind of hang out on a bottom shelf). This Lowepro ProTactic 450 AW is my favorite backpack to date. Side-draw pocket is mandatory for me (lefties: this bag is ambidextrous!). Being able to have TWO FF DSLRs with L lenses (short lensed-camera up top, long-lensed-camera, in the lower/side-draw) is just phenomenal. All the tactical strapping is cool, I guess, but I never use it because extra pockets/pouches/whatever will inevitably snag on stuff (trunks, overheads, backseats, etc). I DO use these add-ons on other, smaller bags though. Also, the raincover won't fit over the bag correctly if the webbing accessories are used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost Perfect Camera Backpack A very nice one. I use one side opening for my Canon 5D3 with a lens attached, the other side for my filter pouch. Top opening is for easy access to two zoom lenses. Lots room left for my fisheye and macro lenses and accessories. I was lucky I waited a little and the price dropped $50. Still pricy but an excellent camera bag. I believe there are lots of you just like me keep on searching for the perfect camera bag. I will probably stop searching for a while, because there is no perfect bag per se and I am very happy with this one. Good build quality even for a Lowepro standard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality, versitile, big The bag works great. Has room for all my gear and still have some extra stuff when traveling. Outside webbing allows you to add capacity on demand and reconfigure based on the need. Comfortable to carry for long periods of time. Easy to access camera and equipment form the sides and the top. Good outer protection. Not a deal breaker but something that can be improved: - rain cove is useless if any outside equipment attached (pouches/bottle holder/tripod) - Top and belt pouches are too small to be used for almost anything.
