Stop stray light from entering your lens with the Sensei PRO 62mm Wide Angle Aluminum Lens Hood, a screw-on type hood that is designed for use with wide-angle lenses with 62mm front filter threads. This hood will work with lenses 24mm and longer on full frame cameras or 18mm and longer on APS-C sensors. Lens hoods are primarily designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens. Also, since the end of the lens is extended and the hood features a durable anodized aluminum construction, you also get the added benefit of some extra protection from accidental impact. Additionally, users can attach 82mm filters to the front opening and it has a non-glare matte finish on the inside to prevent reflections.

PRO 62mm Wide Angle Aluminum Lens Hood is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Hood I wanted a hood that wouldn't shadow the corners of my photos so much as the tulip. Don't know why they don't make a rectangular hood since photos typically are rectangular in shape!! It worked very well and still kept down the glare from the sun and excess light.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value in a rigid hood Quality: nicely machined aluminum with no rough/sharp edges and well-applied satin finish. Brand, model, and thread diameter lettering are provided by stickers and are NOT printed or engraved. Design: appropriate depth is difficult to determine for many wide-angles since front element exposure varies greatly from lens to lens. I am confident this hood is adequate for stray light protection without vignette for most 28mm and 35mm lenses and usable with reasonable filter stack on 24x36mm (FF) format and APS-C. I am less confident for 24mm in regards to vignette on 24x36mm or 18mm on APS-C. 35mm on APS-C may benefit from a deeper hood as might 40mm on FF. YMMV. Concerns: Although it is not obvious in the listing photos, the product lettering is in the form of printed stickers. With time and normal handling, these will likely rub/fall off. Printed or engraved lettering would have been nice and is the industry norm even at this price point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for 23mm f1.4 Fuji X Lens I wanted a replacement hood for the large Fuji tulip hood that came with the 23mm f1.4 Fuji X lens and this metal hood with 62mm threads does the job well. This makes the camera and lens less conspicuous when street shooting.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as advertised. Very well made however....The description for this hood states its within a suitable range of view for an FX 24MM...however I have a Nikon 28-105. This filter has serious vignetting with and without a UV filter.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Can't use this one. Well made however it's claim of working with a 20mm lens does not hold up on a Nikon 28-105mm/D750. there is vignetting at 28mm...with and without an UV filter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wrong Hood for Nikon 5100 Wrong Hood...my fault. Got the right hood next time. You had the hood for the Tamron 18-270-mm. Owner needs to know that he has a Piezo lens.....Thanks.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The good and the bad Good: Sturdy, functional as related to purpose of controlling light. Bad: Can't use lens cap if lens hood is in place. It doesn't fit.
