    Klipsch R-110SW reviews

    R-110SW 200W Powered 10" Subwoofer is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality control (Maded in China). Product arrive on time by UPS and was not double boxed. Set up this unit right away to find out that the stand-by switch did not work, only would in the On position. Hooked up the wireless accessory and that worked. As far as sound quality goes, I was not impressed. My old (7 year old)10 Polk was so much better. Since this item was defective (stand-by switch), I returned it that same day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reference R-110SW packs a massive punch for a 10 inch sub The Klipsch Reference R-110SW packs a massive punch for a 10 inch sub. 32x15 room, it shakes the walls (and yes...it does go up to 11). It took a while to get the sound dialed in but once I did, man, does this thing rock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You are gonna love it. I bought this to finish up my little home theater. I have had big and expensive ones and now I have this - this is just fine! I am using an inexpensive Sony receiver (STR 1040), with 15 year old Harmon 10 bookshelf speakers that are actually excellent - but small (4 1/4 woofer with a 1 tweeter). I have an older JBL center channel with 2, 4 3/4 woofers, and I just got the 8 Leviton/JBL in-ceiling speakers for the surrounds. I set the Sony to pass only the frequencies above 80 hz to the those speakers and give the rest to the Klipsch sub. I put the sub in front for a few days and then moved it behind the couch (in a corner) and have left it there. I am very pleased with the results. I have been watching high res TV shows on Amazon and Netflix and cable and they can sound just great when the source is good. I lean towards the Neo 6 cinema (or music for CDs) and the clarity, balance, dynamics and low-end bass is just great. I debated the larger sub, and if I had a bigger room it might have been helpful, but not in this approximately 16 x 15 room that opens up to the rest of a good size house. Very pleased with this and so is my wife.
