    Brother MFC-L2700DW reviews

MFC-L2700DW All-in-One Monochrome Laser Printer is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 95.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't do it Good for printing. Ok for scanning: grainy. I'm, well, unhappy would be an understatement. What I would like to say would not be acceptable in most company let alone here. The online manual claims you can to 2 sided to 2 sided duplexing. You can't. The manaual writes of a 2:2 button that is not there. That was one of the main reasons I purchased it (not from bh). It would've been a different situation had they been even close to honest. Would not have wasted my money. Of course when I discovered that it was too late to return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5-star Review of MFC-L2700DW FAX PLUS For starters, it does everything as advertised; and, it does them well and without problems. I've had other Brother products for a number of years with both MAC and Windows platforms. . .and, this unit performs exactly as I anticipated when I purchased it.I can recommend it without reservation for both Home Office and Personal use. PS. . .It is so convenient to use that I often use it when I am simply taking notes for future reference. And, the toner refills are quite inexpensive and will provide twice or three times as many copies as promised (Just shake the cartridge a few times and re-insert it)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Speedy, efficient, crisp printing This printer has been worth every penny! I did a lot of research as to what printer my studio should change too. We RARELY print and if we do, it is just documents. I was lead to the laser printer to avoid ink drying up since we use it so infrequently. This was very easy to set up and it work off of my wifi like a charm. The documents that have come out are crisp and clean. It is speedy. I know it sounds crazy, but my heart flutters when I hit print now because I walk in our back room and POOF, there is my print! Little things make me happy when they make my life simpler. Thinking about buying one for home. It's really awesome!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product Using it primarily to print and rarely copy. Have not (probably will never) use the Fax functionality. The Setup was pretty easy and printing from laptop wireless is very good. We also used the app to print from Android and iPhone and that worked well also. There were some complaints on other websites about it going into a deep sleep mode and not responding when we print wireless but I have not had any problem so far. Overall, I would recommend the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! This black and white wireless multifunction machine took exactly ten minutes from plug-in to wireless printing of the first page. It is quiet, fast and simple. Only problem I had was trying to follow the instructions of another reviewer who kindly wrote about installing a fixed address to prevent the machine from searching for the address that something (my computer? my router? my internet provider?) assigns it every time I turn it on. If anyone out there can provide these instructions in a manner so simple and complete that they can be followed by a non-expert, it would be appreciated.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wi-fi problems for many owners Bought this machine four days ago, returned it today. Set up and ran fine until it went into deep sleep mode. It refused to wake up when a print job is sent. You have to power the machine off and back on.Did a re-install, current drives from Brother's website. Didn't make a difference. In cases like this I often question if I have done something wrong. Not this time.If you search brother printer and deep sleep you will find dozens of people having problems with several Brother printers/all-in-ones. they also complain of horrid customer service a lousy owner's manual (print and online is terrible).@ is full of complaints about this machine.Buy something else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent My last Brother laser printer lasted at least 8/9 years and gave faultless service, I'd be happy with half that time! Brand loyalty! This printer was so easy to install I never swore once! so easy to operate quality prints/scans perfect! - Oh and Brother update drivers when new OS come out so your not left with a printer that works fine but incompatible with new OS, my original Brother printer was for XP and I had it running on Win10 after downloading the latest driver! Now that's what I call service! well done Brother!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Buy What a great deal on a laser printer. I really liked that once you download the software into your computer, you can change the settings from your laptop. The only thiing that I wished for that my old HP had was that the fax would pick up automatically by listening on the line with my answering maching in a different room. Otherwise, the answering machine can do this but it has to be connected to the fax directly. Another really cool feature, is that you can change the settings so that you receive the fax automatically as a PDF transmitted to your laptop instead of wasting paper. The printer also works great with my iPhone when I want to print something anywhere in the house.
