Brother MFC-J5520DW Overview

With a Fast Mode offering print speeds of 35 ppm in black and 27 ppm in color as well as the ability to produce 11 x 17" documents, the MFC-J5520DW Business Smart Plus All-in-One Inkjet Printer from Brother will improve productivity. This inkjet printer features scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities for further enhancing the workflow of a home or small office. The primary feature, printing, is possible at a maximum resolution of 6000 x 1200 dpi and automatic duplex and borderless prints are possible at sizes up to 8.5 x 11".

Scanning and copying benefit from the inclusion of both a flatbed with an optical resolution of 2400 x 2400 dpi and a 35-sheet ADF for multi-page documents. This resolution can be interpolated up to a maximum of 19200 x 19200 dpi for detailed images. Copying with the MFC-J5520DW is fast with rates of 12 ppm in black or 9 ppm in color.

General paper handling is done through the use of a front-loading 250-sheet input tray, 80-sheet multi-purpose tray, or a single-sheet bypass. For ease of use the printer has a 3.7" swipe LCD touchscreen that allows users to view and adjust settings with ease. USB 2.0, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi connectivity options are available.
