The 82' SeaWolf SSL Tether Unit from Orcalight includes a 82' length of Shore Supply Land (SSL) cable and a pre-assembled end plate with its on-board circuitry and switch ready to connect directly to SeaWolf 2260 or SeaWolf 1560 LED lamp heads.
The SSL model allows you to use your dive light on land, but due to the reduced cooling effect in free air, the maximum lumens the light will reach is approximately 11,000. However, with its three standard settings you can temporarily increase power when needed and the light will automatically revert to lower output based on environmental conditions. All Orcalight lamp heads are safe to use with the SSL, swapping takes approximately 2 minutes and can be done in the field. Applicable voltage for the SSL ranges between 24-48 VDC.
