The Kenesis A257 Body Pouch can fit a pro-sized DSLR such as a Canon 1D-series or Nikon D3-series camera without an attached lens. It surrounds a compatible camera with 1/4" (6mm) of closed-cell foam and features two methods to connect it to a belt or another case.
The Kinesis TwinBuckle Attachment System functions using a metal "figure 8" component, also called a "slider" or "butterfly" due to its shape. The "figure 8" operates like a shirt button, which allows the A257 Body Pouch to lock onto a Kenesis belt or pouch that has a corresponding loop that fits the "figure 8." Each "figure 8" is sewn to military-spec nylon webbing tested to 900 pounds.
Also included is the Kinesis Attachment Tab System (KATS) which uses triple-sheath touch-tab fasteners that can hook onto belts or straps up to 1 1/2" (40mm) wide.
The exterior of the bag consists of 500 denier nylon for water-resistance.
