Fujifilm instax WIDE 300 overview

  • 1Description

Instantly capture moments and create memories with the INSTAX Wide 300 Instant Film Camera from Fujifilm. Utilizing large format INSTAX instant film, the INSTAX Wide 300 can create images 2.4 x 3.9" in size on a 3.4 x 4.3" piece of film. It also features a retractable 95mm f/14 lens with a two-range focus zone setting for capturing sharp imagery, as well as a 0.37x optical viewfinder with a target spot for composing images.

Built into the INSTAX Wide 300 is a flash with automatic power settings and a fill flash mode. This complements the auto exposure settings to produce well-lit images. Exposure compensation is available from ±2/3 EV via a lighten-darken control for adjusting the shots based on the situation. Also, there is an LCD screen that displays number of shots remaining, the exposure compensation, and flash mode.

Additional features of the camera include a film pack confirmation window to check and see if film is loaded and a tripod socket for when additional stability is needed. A close-up lens adapter is included for focusing as close as 15.5" from the subject, and the INSTAX Wide 300 runs on 4 AA batteries and comes with a strap.

    Fujifilm instax WIDE 300 reviews

INSTAX Wide 300 Instant Film Camera is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 93.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun had by all My 10 year old son received this camera for Christmas. He loves it & so does everyone else! My kids don't see many printed pictures, mostly digital, so they had a lot of fun with the Instax Wide 300 Camera. They were fascinated that it developed right in front of their eyes! My 17 year old said, now I understand the song that says 'shake it like a polaroid picture'! I like the digital age but there is just something about having an actual photo in your hand. I also like the little bit larger size prints. Reminds me more of the old polaroid size...just not quite as large. If you're thinking about this camera, it's fun, lightweight and anyone can use it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Worth the Price Right Now I loved the look of this camera but and the ergonomics are much better than the 210. But it has one major flaw that makes it worthless to me. The on/off switch needs a lock. It constantly turns on inside my bag. What a bummer. when this happens, not only does it fire off images and waste film, but it also has the potential to break, as the on /off switch also propels the lens out to it's ready position. In my case, it opened in a suitcase and broke. Now im using my 210 again and wont go back until they upgrade the 300. **WARNING** If you buy this camera, do yourself a favor and remove a battery if you plan on carrying it in a bag or traveling with it. I promise you, it will break!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from fun and great plastic camera love this fun camera! the pictures come out at good quality considering the plastic body. its a bit big and bulky but not so much that it would be uncomfortable to take pictures with it. its great for trips and family/friends gathering. i love the automtic instant pictures and the vintage look they get. i do have to warn anyone who purchases it though- it has an annoying problem where the camera is easily turned on inside the bag and the zoom comes out automatically. my last one was ruined by this after only 4 months of use. best thing to do is take out the batteries before storing inside a bag. other then that its really great!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality not up to par I received this camera on 02/09/15. A little over 2 months later, the ring which has the shutter has already fallen off. My friend has the Instax 210, which is less expensive. Having had hers for less than a year, her front shutter won't close...I was hoping I won't run into the same problem when mine costs more. Low and behold, the entire ring that holds the shutter falls off on my camera...I tried to put it back but the shutter won't close anymore. I called B&H and they said the repair must be done with Fujifilm. Contacted Fujifilm, they said I need to send it for repair at my expense for the shipping. This is really unfortunate that the customer has to pay out of pocket to fix something that seems to be consistently defective with their cameras. Probably won't suggest anyone to buy this again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nothing like a polaroid, wish I hadn't purchased it, blurry I've owned polaroid land cameras and a polaroid 600. Both were better than this. My wife's instax mini is better than this. I have yet to get a single photo that isn't blurry or too light or too dark. You have almost no control over anything and the focusing is a joke. Very unhappy with this camera. I bought this in person at B&H and I must say my experience there was exceptional. A door greeter, a table with ice water since it was so hot, several people asking me if I needed help and immediate assistance. Check out was quick and the check out person was very nice. Just ashamed it's such a poor product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Modern Day Polaroid Experience at a Better Price Pros: The economy of the film. Instax offers 10 pictures whereas Polaroid with Impossible film offers only 8 pictures. A single pack (8 pictures) of Polaroid Instax film goes for $24.95, whereas a twin pack (20 pictures) of Instax Wide film goes for just under $16. So 80 cents vs. 3 dollars plus per print. Also, kids love seeing the shots develop. Cons: I wish the camera had a timer for group shots. I wish the film was available in stores locally instead of having to order it online. I wish there were more albums available that fit these wide prints. I wish the focus settings were in feet, not meters. I wish there was a better implementation for closeups than a snap on lens. Camera is a bit bulky, but the results are too much fun to make this a true negative.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seriously fun camera I purchased this camera when I learned that fuji decided to discontinue pack film,, rendering my beloved land camera obsolete. This camera produces photos that are similar in size to my vintage Polaroid. The quality is pretty good too, though 800 speed film can't touch the 100 speed pack film. Overall I am happy with my purchase though and look forward to using this camera frequently. There is something fabulous about taking a picture and being able to watch it develop and then having an actual physical picture to either frame or put in an album, or give to someone. I hope fuji makes a professional grade instant camera at some point. I would buy it in a heartbeat! In the meantime this one will most certainly suffice. By the way, if you are reading this review and are thinking about making this purchase I highly recommend buying from B&H. Their pricing is the best and the shipping is super fast and service is always top shelf. Thanks B&H :)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked only for 2 pictures no customer service Dear all, For my side, I experience the worst with this camera and Fuji company, first of all after opening the box, I directly try to take pictures, after 2 pictures, the camera start to shake. I turned back the camera to fuji shop to fix it, they told me I have to pay (more expensive than the camera) because something is broken in side. I was really surprise and really unsatisfied for this, but the shop explained me that they can t do anything. I contacted fuji online, by sending mail on the customer support, few times already but none of them answered to me. I you think to by quality dont buy from this brand because according to my experience both of the product and customer service are really bad
