Featuring built-in support for the Neat Organization System, the Officejet 8040 e-All-in-One Inkjet Printer from HP provides a cloud-based service that safeguards data, and includes an external hard drive with 1TB of physical storage. Neat lets users easily organize information from scanned receipts, business cards, and documents as well as easily export data to programs like Microsoft Excel, TurboTax, and Quicken. Additionally, the Officejet 8040 functions as an all-in-one unit, capable of printing, scanning, copying, and faxing.

Inkjet printing is done at a maximum resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi and with documents up to 8.5 x 14" in size. A draft mode also enables print speeds as fast as 22 ppm in black or 21 ppm in color. Borderless printing is possible at up to 8.5 x 11" as well. And if you want to save paper, automatic duplex printing is available.

Scanning and copying is possible through an 8.5 x 11.7" flatbed and Automatic Document Feeder. The 8040 features an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi for detailed images. Control the settings and view previews through the 3.5" color LCD touchscreen on the front panel. The unit has USB 2.0, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi with NFC connectivity options.

Three-year Neat subscription included with printer for up to 45 pages of OCR searchable scans per month. This includes the Neat Mobile app available for iOS and Android-based devices
