Designed to operate in the 1.9 GHz frequency range, the MBP8 Digital Audio Baby Monitor from Motorola will not interfere with Wi-Fi or wireless devices in the crowded 2.4 GHz ISM band. To begin monitoring your baby, choose a power outlet that's at least 3' away from the crib. Plug the baby unit into the power outlet in your baby's room, and plug the parent unit in the room where you'll be. Both units plug directly into power outlets, eliminating the need for charging cradles. The monitor's signal is encrypted, meaning the connection from the parent unit to the baby unit is secure, deterring intentional or accidental eavesdropping.
Sound Level Indicator
The parent unit's sound level LEDs will light up while adjusting the volume to indicate the set level from 1 (quiet) to 5 (loud).
Nightlight
The baby unit's built-in nightlight gives off a soft glow so that you can check on your baby without waking it up by turning on the lights.
