The Beyerdynamic MPC23 combines the convenience of micro components with the fidelity of a high quality condenser transducer. The MPC23 is a miniature surface mount microphone with an unobtrusive surface mountable profile. The microphone head measures only 1.18" in diameter making it suitable for use in conferences, news broadcasts, houses of worship and anywhere an inconspicuous microphone is necessary.
The small foot print is not representative of MPC23's sensitivity and frequency response. The condenser element is more than capable of reproducing accurate, transparent audio signal, resulting in a big overall sound. The hemispherical omni-directional polar pattern provides a generous pick up pattern at the off-axis sections of the capsule while eliminating noise associated with flush mounting. The MPC23 mounts easily in ceilings, walls or table tops and includes elastic bearing rings that suppress surface noise. The MPC23 includes a standard 3-pin XLR-male adapter and is powered via external phantom power source.
