Arturia KeyLab 25 Hybrid 25-Key Controller

The KeyLab 25 Hybrid 25-Key Controller from Arturia features 25 semi-weighted, velocity sensitive keys with aftertouch, 13 encoders, nine 45mm sliders, 15 assignable control buttons, and a transport control section. It is designed to provide 1:1 control of the included Analog Lab synth software as well as any MIDI controllable plug-in. It can be customized to other software using the downloadable MIDI Control Center software.

The Analog Lab software and KeyLab 25 controller are fully integrated, allowing you to control the elements of Analog Lab without having to reach for your mouse. The software includes presets from the Arturia Classic Synths bundle including the mini V, Modular V, CS-80V, ARP 2600 V, Prophet V, Prophet VS, SEM V and Jupiter-8V and more. With the KeyLab 25, you can navigate through presets as well as create and save your own. The keyboard can be split or layered to help create new sounds. Analog Lab supports VST and RTAS formats on PC and VST, RTAS, and AU formats on Mac.

Features
  • Find your sound via user friendly data filtering and sorting. Choose by Instrument, by Type (Bass, Pads, Leads) or by Characteristics (long, bright, dark)
  • Multi patches organized by musical genres, each made of two different synth patches with effects, layers and splits
  • Straightforward editing, with a complete array of parameters for tweaking sounds, directly assigned to the controls of the KeyLab 25
  • User mapping of your favorite parameters
Analog Lab Software
Analog Lab is software synthesizer solution with over 5000 classic synthesizer sounds from Arturia's V-Collection 3 instruments. All these synths are easily accessed at your fingertips with the KeyLab25.
Analog Lab offers the ability to do fast and simple editing and customizing of your presets but it doesn't stop there; owners of the original individual synthesizer software products or the V Collection can open an Analog Lab sound and edit it in the original software, save it and then add it to their library.
The Multi mode allows you to create layers and splits as well as warping and twisting your sounds with 15 effects.
Sound Mode
The sound mode allows you access to all the individual sounds of the Analog Lab library. With its filtering options, it allows you to search presets according to your sonic inspiration
Preset Saving
While Analog Lab offers you a vast palette of sounds, sometimes you need to add your own spin on a sound. For owners of the V-Collection synths, Analog Lab enables you to open any Arturia Classic Synth directly from the software to allow in-depth editing in a separate window. When you are done with tweaking the sound to your liking, you can save your own preset inside Analog Lab.
All presets in Analog Lab have been selected from the Arturia Classic Synths and keyboards: mini V, Modular V, CS-80 V, ARP2600 V, Jupiter-8V, Prophet V, Prophet VS, Oberheim SEM V and Wurlitzer V
Multi Mode
The Multi Mode introduces a new realm of sound and performance capabilities. In multi mode you can stack sounds or split them across your keyboard for unique sound creation. Simple drag and drop functionality allows you quickly build up new multis. Once you have your layer or split, you can further process it all with the 15 effects that are at your disposal
Construction
The KeyLab 25 has all metal and wood construction
Arturia mini V - Virtual Synthesizer

In 1971, Bob Moog introduced the minimoog, the first compact, portable and affordable synthesizer. With its "fat" sound and unparalleled filters, the synthesizer quickly became known for its analog bass and lead sounds.

Arturia has created the mini V, a faithful reproduction of the hardware. Offering all the features of the original, the software version also adds polyphony, MIDI management and presets.

Behind the control panel are additional functions, including a modulation matrix, an arpeggiator and an independent LFO, as well as a stereo chorus and a delay.

Using TAE, Arturia's proprietary technology for emulating analog circuits, the software offers sharp filters, aliasing-free oscillators and soft-clipping, which results in a convincing analog emulation
More than 1,000 presets
3 voltage-controlled oscillators (with 5 waveforms) and 1 LFO
The 24 dB/oct filter, 1 noise generator, 2 ADS(R) envelopes and 1 VCA
A modulation matrix offers up to 6 different connections (12 sources, 32 destinations)
External audio input for processing audio through the software filters
Bitwig Studio Music Creation System for Mac, Windows, and Linux

The Bitwig Studio Music Creation System for Mac, Windows, and Linux is a production and performance DAW designed for electronic and recording musicians. The software features an intuitive layout designed to optimize and accelerate artist workflows within a multi-track recording environment. It is compatible with Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux.

The recording environment utilizes an object based system for editing tracks, clips, virtual instruments, effects, and individual notes. Built-in parameter histograms provide visual feedback of how setting changes influence parameters such as gain, velocity, panorama and more. In addition to the traditional linear multi-track recording view, the software offers an arranger clip launcher for experimenting with non-linear looping while producing and a mixer clip launcher view for live performance.

The program supports audio tracks with time stretching and transient detection, instrument tracks with per note micro-pitch control, and hybrid tracks that can accept both audio and MIDI instrument information. This enables bouncing note clips to audio in place and slicing audio to send to a sampler or drum machine. Multiple tracks can be edited simultaneously using layered editing, and automation can be applied at both the clip and track level. A suite of virtual instruments is included, as well as full support for 32/64-bit VST plug-ins. VST plug-ins are opened as a separate process to prevent Bitwig Studio from crashing in case the VST plug-in crashes. Any device parameter, nested device, or plug-in can be modulated with macro controls, LFOs, note expressions, and envelope followers.

Workflow enhancements include multi-monitor support for up to 3 monitors, 3 GB of factory content such as drum machines (808, 909, etc) and multi-sampled instruments (Rhodes, Wurlitzer, etc), a metadata-based browser system for tagging music content, and the ability to drag, drop, copy and paste between multiple simultaneous documents. The software supports many popular MIDI devices out of the box, such as full integration with Nektar's Panorama and Impact controllers, and also includes an Open-source JavaScript API for programming controller functionality.
