doesn't diffuse at all, I ended up buying thin plastic paper sheet diffusers to do the job

Is this Gel a piece of hard plastic? and how does it attach to the astra 1x1?
It is stiff, flexible plastic. It will fit but It doesnt do much softening because it is right up against the LEDs.
