Canon P-215II Overview

Increase productivity while on the go with the compact and portable imageFORMULA P-215II Scan-tini Personal Document Scanner from Canon. The P-215II features an optical resolution of 600 dpi and utilizes a 20-sheet automatic document feeder for paper handling. The scanner can work with cards thanks to a built-in card slot, as well as documents from 2.0 x 2.8" to 8.5 x 39.4" in size. Additionally, the color depth of the P-215II is 24-bit and it can scan color documents at a rate of 10 ppm.

Also capable of duplex scanning to improve productivity with a color scan speed of 20 ipm. The unit also works quickly by simply plugging into the USB port on a computer, from which it can also draw power. Also, it features USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 support for speed and compatibility.

Black & white and grayscale scanning modes allow for speeds of 15 ppm in simplex or 30 ipm in duplex
Dedicated card slot allows for scanning of plastic and embossed cards
Fully automatic scanning mode
Output formats includes PDF, TIFF, PNG, JPEG, BMP, and PPTX

This scanner horrible is only the brand Canon, the onboard software is the only usable thing, this scanner always is stop with any type of paper.

Okay, I'm 99% sure I'll be buying this product, and that I'll be purchasing it from your Company. That one percent is an important reservation because it's the only reason I need a product like this.I'm a musician - most of the time I get the chords and lyrics for free online copy/paste them into my 'LibreOffice' program edit them to suit my purposes, and then I can view the songs on my big screen Samsung TV. There are however, some songs that require my playing the melody (the individual notes) of the songs and for that I need to see the notes themselves as well as the chords and lyrics.I have the sheet music for these songs, and was hoping I could just scan, and input them into my 'LibreOffice' word processor program and then I could have them appear on my giant Samsung screen just like I do the other songs. It would be nice if I could edit them as well, but not a deal breaker as long as I can get them into my song data base of my laptop them be able to view them on the screen of my TV.My question is: Do you know whether or not I could do this with the Canon PT215?As this is the 'only' reason I could use this product I hope the answer is yes.Thank you.Elvin

This scanner does not come with editing software. In order to do this, you'll need to import the file into Word or some other word processing editing program, like LibreOffice. There should not be any compatibility issue with file output formats.

yes, fantastic purchase. I use it daily and have probably had 15 friends buy based on y recommendation. I bought it on the basis of my bank having these at every location and every teller to scan checks. - you will enjoy
