This is a deluxe kit including ikan's VX7c 7" On-Camera Monitorthat features cross conversion of HDMI to SDI and SDI to HDMI signals, a battery, charger, and hard case. ikan's VX7c 7" On-Camera Monitor is an HD display with built-in display tools that aid you in evaluating focus and exposure, while simultaneously providing both 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs from your camera's signal whether it be HDMI or SDI. The monitor includes a Canon 900 series battery plate and optionally accepts V-mount and Anton Bauer pro battery plates via mounting holes on its rear panel. The monitor accepts and displays Tally signals on the LCD screen so the operator can view them; it also displays Tally signals via three small LEDs on the monitor's back panel.
The LCD panel features IPS (In Plane Switching) allowing 170° of off axis viewing. The screen has a rating of 400 nit for brightness with an 800:1 contrast ratio. Four, assignable, front panel control buttons allow you program and access often used menu functions. A host of display tools are incorporated into the monitor, including Histogram, False Color, Peaking, ikan's clip guides exposure evaluation system, DSLR Scaling, and movable 1:1 pixel display. The included battery and charger fit with the monitor, and it all packs into the included hard case.
