The Floating Bobber Handle for GoPro from XIT provides a way to shoot hand-held with a GoPro and will keep the camera afloat if dropped in the water. It features the standard three-prong, thumbscrew-tightened interface found on most GoPro housings and frames - the housing and thumbscrew are not included.
