If you only want to carry one extra lens, this makes doing that and changing lenses less hassle. It is light and not bulky. One had holding teh camera, another the lens, and you are done.

LOVE this thing. Lightest way to hold 2 more lenses =

How I use the Lens Flipper: - I bought this lens for use with my Sony FE lenses. It allows me to have a total of 3 lenses on hand with my Sony Alpha a9 body to use. I actually bought the Canon EF version of this LensFlipper, mounting L-glass lenses that are usually on the heavier side and this thing has NEVER disappointed me. What I like about the Lens Flipper: - I do NOT like the idea of lugging around 2 camera bodies. (that sounds expensive and cumbersome). Being able to swap lenses and keep all my shots on the same card with an accurate chronological order kept sounds much more ideal to me. This LensFlipper allows me to perform quickly where speed is essential, especially since I prefer to shoot with prime lenses. With my lightweight Sony FE lenses, this is working out even better than with my Canon lenses. I work can be anything from events to portraits and this helps for both. A strap is provided and it works for me. What I don't like about the Lens Flipper: - Absolutely nothing. Well done, GoWing. = Overall: - This a very nifty, innovative invention. If you're using it to hold smaller, lighter lenses like I do, it's such a relief on your shoulders.

Works well with excellent design, one small...

Having another lens on your hip ready to switch without the usual juggling is a surprising benefit. I t works so well you wonder why didn't they think of this before. Skillfully engineered with excellent fittings. The only drawback is the lens release button requires an extra bit of 'deep push' to release the lens. Probably a thoughtful bit of design to keep accidental release from happening but took about three lens switches before I learned to push the release button farther.

Super Light weight.

The Lens flipper is well built and extremely light and with an ever expanding camera bag this is a welcome addition. The only thing I would add is a loop that could accommodate a carabiner for a quick connect option to a belt loop or something like that so I don't have to have another thing hanging around my neck in the course of a shoot.

Great for travelling light

It works as advertised. Used it on a recent trip to be as light as possible on the street as I would also be carrying a baby. Switched between wide and normal lenses with ease. Well made. Lenses fit very well. Maybe a bit on the expensive side but it gets the job done.

Really neat idea!

Often I want to travel light when I am out taking photos. This accessory allows me to carry an extra lens without having to use a backpack. Changing lenses is fast and easy. I put the front lens cap of the lens on the camera in my pocket, and don't have to fool with the rear lens cap at all. I wish the strap was a little wider. That would make it more comfortable. If I have to scramble, it is pretty easy to move the lens toward my back to protect it. I have a feeling this may be one of the most useful gadgets I have purchased.

There is at least one other brand of these that is far superior. Look around.

I use this product in order to stack lenses vertically in my bag. My only warning is the lens release button is small and requires a strong thumbnail to press. It is unlikely to release a lens on it's own.
