Using this Two Ball Arm Mark II Extensions and TTL Dual Sync Cord Kit from Ikelite, add any 2 optional DS strobes to any Ikelite compact or DSLR camera housing featuring their proprietary TTL electrical bulkhead. Both strobes are fired by way of a single housing bulkhead with the supplied dual sync cord, which features a Y-shaped configuration. This package also includes two 7" double-ball arm Mark II extensions, each of which has a strobe mount, an Ikelite quick-release handle mount, and 2 ball clamps.
The ball mounts measure 1" in diameter and work with all standard 1" ball arms and components, including those from Ikelite, Aquatica TLC, ULtralight, and Nauticam. The ball clamps enable attachment to the quick-release mount and to the strobe mount, which is compatible with DS50, DS51, DS125, DS160, and DS161 strobes. When fully assembled, the overall length of each arm is about 15". Additional extensions and clamps are available separately and allow for different lighting angles and effects.
The slotted design of the arm extensions allows for the connection of lightweight accessories along the length of each extension. To prevent slipping and enable a better hold with less force, the ball mounts have grooves and O-rings. The arm extension and balls are made of aluminum that has been treated with a hard type III anodized finish for resistance to corrosion.
