Profoto 100995 overview

  • 1Description

The medium Umbrella Backpanel from Profoto is an optional accessory for Profoto's translucent umbrellas. The Backpanel's fabric is white on the inside and black on the outside and attaches to the umbrella with an integrated elastic band. A drawstring closes the panel's opening if desired.

With the Backpanel attached there will be reduced light leakage backwards minimizing unwanted reflected light and producing more light coming through the umbrella and onto the subject. The Umbrella Backpanel virtually converts your translucent umbrella into a softbox.

Profoto 100995 reviews

Umbrella Backpanel (Medium) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Take your umbrella to the next level It works great, and is made well. I find it easiest to attach while the umbrella is closed, then erecting the umbrella by reaching through the hole for the light. This backing makes the medium deep umbrella a little too heavy to hang underneath a D1 without slipping. One simple remedy is to loop the drawstring through the light's handle.
