The Nest thermostat is compatible with most low-voltage heating and cooling systems as well as emergency heating units and whole-home humidifiers. It features an innovative designed aimed at creating a more artful home. The thermostat is encased by a stainless steel ring, which mirrors wall paint and wallpaper to effortlessly blend in with your home or business's decor.

Beyond aesthetics, this thermostat has several auto energy-saving features such as the convenient Auto-Away setting that activates anytime you leave the house. As soon as you're gone, the Nest will automatically adjust the temperature to avoid cooling or heating an empty home. The thermostat's Time-to-Temperature sensor learns how long it will take your HVAC system to heat up and cool down your home, and calculates the time it requires to reach your target temperature. And, the Cool-to-Dry feature uses your air conditioner to reduce excessive humidity which can reduce the risk of mold. A base, screwdriver, trim kit, mounting hardware, and labels are all included with the Nest thermometer.
