Pro Series Hand Grip with UltraPlate 208 for DSLR Cameras is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid and simple. A simple hand grip for making your own rig. Works for my needs with my DSLR and flash setup, as well as my Hasselblad and GoPro setup. Simply designed, solidly built, and once taken apart it's very compact. Definitely recommend if you need to make a rig for a project. Close to perfect so far - I would have given it 5 Stars if Joby included a $. male-to-male screw adapter. It can be bought from a hardware shop, but for the price of the Joby Hand Grip, you'd think they'd include it. An extra bolt for the grip or an accessory would've been appreciated as well. Also, overall well made, it is a little pricey for what it is. Hopefully it'll prove its worth over time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DIY Cage and more! Versatile, well built, good value This plate has turned out to be one of the most useful things in my collection of accessories, especially when used in combination with other plates in order to build larger accessories. As you can see in my picture, I was able to make a pretty nice video rig out of 4x of these plates, which I got on sale, and were very affordable. You can also use them as a sort of platform to add brackets and whatnot to cameras that otherwise couldn't fit. And of course, you can use them as "intended".

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bracket & handle are well built The bracket and handle are well built. I use this as a left grip to hold my camera when not shooting. The reason this does not make the 5 stars: the 1/4 screw has a hex end which needs an Allen wrench. There's a wrench comes with it.It would be much nicer if it comes with a D ring D-shaft or flathead which makes it easier to take the camera off the bracket. When my camera battery runs low, it's difficult to find the wrench in order to dismount the camera. Idea of hex screw is well engineered, but not user friendly. I end up toss it out and use a D ring D-shft instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SOLID PRODUCT Rugged camera support. I use it for my Sony RX100v. Because there aren't any really points to connect outboard gear to the RX100v, I needed something that would allow me to connect a digital recorder and a light. With couple of 1/4 - 20 connectors, I'm able to do just that. Great piece of gear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quite Versatile I got this for an incredibly low price in the Deal Zone. I purchased this grip/plate combo to replace a vintage Goldcrest chrome angled off-camera flash bracket. The 30+ year old bracket was still serving me well, but I realized I was using it to perform functions as a mini camera rig which was better suited to this modern and more versatile grip/plate combo. I like that both the grip and plate have standard 1/4 20 threads which make the grip or plate independently usable as separate components on my other larger rigs. I like that the plate has plenty of additional mounting holes, and grooved on each side to double as an Arca-Swiss Quick Release plate. It even has a cutout to accommodate a strap. The quality is unquestionable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convert 2 of these into a camera cage I bought 2 on sale. Used both to convert it into a camera cage. Not the smartest look compared to a form fitting cage but it is cost effective and serves my video needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the third hand Useful for professionals, who shot pictures in raw. Specially for snapshoots where you have to use a external flash at at spaces with less light and have to shoot in raw. Flash and camera in one hand and camera is free without any hinderness its around for instant adjustments. For instance in ceremonies.
