Readiris Corporate 14 from IRIS is a software program designed for Windows systems that converts a paper document, image, or PDF into an editable and searchable digital file using Optical Character Recognition technology. This software is compatible with scanners and offers a scanning wizard for paper documents. It can also import images and PDFs from your computer system. The OCR software converts the source into Word, Excel, text, HTML, and other file types. These files are compatible with word processing, spreadsheet, email, PDF, or other programs. Additionally, this version includes improvements to the OCR technology that recognizes 3D objects from camera pictures. It recognizes 137 languages and up to 5 languages on a single document. Furthermore, this software keeps the original layout using advanced retention technology. This helps ensure the converted file will look the same as the original source.
The corporate edition of Readiris 14 uses high compression technology that reduces the size of your images and PDF files up to 50 times smaller without any quality lost. The format will be PDF, PDF/A, or XPS, which are compatible with PDF viewers. The produced PDF has a text layer ready to be searched and indexed while looking the same as the original source. This edition can process unlimited multi-page documents and automatically processes documents in watched folders. In addition, you can separate batches using a barcode or blank page when scanning multiple reports. It also recognizes business cards with the included Cardiris Pro 5 software. Once all your produced files are finished, upload them to Cloud services such as Sharepoint, Therefore, and more, to share or archive.
