The FLOWCINE Serene is a two-axis spring arm stabilizer that attaches at the end of the Easyrig (2/2.5/3/Vario 5) arm. It smooths video results by mitigating vertical vibrations induced by walking or running during a tracking shot. It also stabilizes side to side motion in similar tracking situations by counter-pivoting around its center axis. The Serene also allows for full use of the Easyrig spring extension for going from high to low mode.

Can the spring be locked out for use. Ive heard that some people say it can be bouncy if you are doing non gimbel shots where you dont walk ?
This is not an issue we have heard of. To answer your question, the Serene can not be locked off. You can turn the spring force all the way up so it does not flex. Once you are finished with your shot, be sure to reduce the spring tension to save wear. You might be interested in the new Line Guide for Serene. It may align the string better for you. Do I need to buy the FLOWCINE Serene with Extension arm if I own the EasyRig Vario 5 with 5" Extension arm? Or is this more for operator preference?
The Flowcine Serene Arm is an accessory for the EasyRig Vario 5 that will add more stability.
