Celestron TetraView Reviews

Absolutely amazing in every way ...

This is an excellent field microscope. It's easy to use, the images are clear and the unit seems to be built very well. At this point I can find nothing to list on the downside; only time will tell.

Fun and extraordinary looks at the invisible.

The microscope is great for the money. At higher powers, though, you must remember that the depth of field is minimal. I wish they had a 20x instead of the 400x. The 5mp camera was a big disappointment. Depending on the colors on the slide, and their saturation, the AWB skews the colors wildly. A red object in most of the field turns the whites green. Fixable in Photoshop, but not perfect. The white balance should be set for the illuminating source.
