ATEN KH1516A Overview

The KH1516Ai 16-port Cat 5 High-Density KVM Switch with Kit (Over IP) from ATEN is a control unit which allows administrators and users to access and control multiple computers from a single PS/2 or USB KVM console. The KH1516Ai allows for 16 computer connections and control for up to 256 computers via daisy chaining. The switch's over IP capability allows data to be accessed from the control center or over the internet using a web-based browser. The KVM switch was designed to enable administrators to manage their entire server room and data center devices conveniently and, when needed, remotely.

  • One KVM console controls up to 16 directly connected computers, or via daisy chaining up to 15 additional units controls up to 256 computers from a single console
  • Dedicated USB port directly connects to a laptop for easy console operation
  • Local console provides PS/2 and USB keyboard and mouse support
