The product works perfectly as described, just be aware that the locking nut is 3/8 and therefor not compatible with the Sachtler and Miller Heads I own. I was able to source a metric M10 nut locally that works great.

Any idea what thread is appropriate for a Sachtler XL head that will fit inside this hi hat?
We think you are asking for an adapter for this high hat; I.E. the Sachtler XL 75mm to fit the Kesseler 100mm High Hat. You can use this adapter: Kessler Crane 100mm to 75mm Bowl Adapter B&H # KETH1017. The XL thread and tie down should work with this configuration.

We believe that the Sachtler 1910 Cine 7+7 HD Fluid Head should be compatible with the Kessler Crane 100mm High Hat for Kessler Sliders, but have not tested it personally. We would also recommend considering to using the Kessler Crane M-10 Knob for Fluid Heads (BH #KECS1063) to tie down the head to the high hat.

The fastener that ships with this item has a 3/8 nut. The bolt on my tripod head is metric - M8 1.25. Is there a replacement part with the correct thread available?
