This is part of a rig I develop for rotating a 18' Kessler crane. It set on top of a FEISOL PB-90 Panning Base and provide a drop in attachment for the crane. its a beast made for mounting beasts.

These are about the best utility plates I've seen. Very heavy duty. I use them to hold my 5 x 7 and 8 x 10 view cameras, My only quibble is that there's no 1/4inch hole on the centerline. The provided 1/4 - 20 machine screws will work, but they should be just a tiny bit longer IMHO so there is at least 2 or three full thread engagement in the camera tripod socket.
