Bring a slider or camera accessory into the Kwik Release System with this 3 x 3" Kwik Slider Plate from Kessler. This specific plate is designed to mount to sliders, providing them a central quick-release point for a support system, but works equally well with many other accessories thanks to a variety of 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads spread across the base. The plate is also Arca-type compatible and features safety screws to prevent it from accidentally sliding all the way out. It includes screws and hex keys for securing certain items.

Should/could this be used to mount the second shooter unit to a slider that has the Quick release receiver on it?Thanks.
I do not have a second shooter or never used one, but I would assume you could. I have used this to attach several things to the Kessler receiver. I have the pocket jib, and I attached this to the bottom so it was easier and faster to use on a tripod. I would double check with Kessler but I would assume you would be able to.

Does the plate actually weigh 1 lb? That seems kind of high, didn't know if the weight was referring to the shipping weight ...thanks
Yea it does. If not exactly, it's close to it. It's a solid piece of metal. Still holding up for me no prob.
