Monitor and manage your home or business with the BlueLine 16-Channel and Eight Camera DVR System from Defender. This system consist of a 16-channel, pentaplex DVR with a preinstalled 500GB HDD as well as eight 600 TVL day/night cameras, each in an IP65-rated weatherproof housing.
With the DVR's recording modes like continuous, scheduled and motion, you can configure recording parameters to accommodate your unique surveillance needs as well as to conserve space on the DVR's 500GB preinstalled hard drive. Featuring H.264 video compression, this DVR allows you to optimize storage space by reducing the resolution and other image variables that contribute to the creation of larger video and audio files. If you need more storage space, you have the option to expand the DVR's HDD storage to 2TB. The DVR's VGA and BNC output allows you to connect this system to a TV or monitor.
The eight included cameras have built-in 1/3" color imaging sensors to capture high-quality 600 TVL video. During the day these cameras capture color video, and as light levels lower, they automatically switch to capture video in black-and-white. In darkness, the cameras can capture video within a range of 100'. The 1Step Remote viewing app allows you to view video live or play it back and will receive any alarm triggered email alerts.
Along with this DVR system, an IR remote control, 60' security extension cable, two BNC to RCA connectors, a 10' Ethernet cable, a 6' RCA cable, and power adapter are all included.

Compressed audio and video are synchronous. You can select either a mixed stream or an individual video stream. You can choose from 4 levels of recording quality. Self-defined bit and frame rates are supported.
