The 24TB (6 x 4TB) STDF24000100 6-Bay NAS Pro Server from Seagate is a preconfigured network storage solution that offers the ability to collaborate, share, and access files even when on the go. The Seagate NAS Pro is built with six bays and comes with six 4TB Seagate NAS hard drives that are engineered to run 24 x 7 and deliver performance for home or SMB use. These hard drives are rated higher for reliability and run cooler than the standard hard drive, offering more protection for your critical files. Furthermore, the NAS Pro is equipped with Intel's dual-core 1.7 GHz processor and has 2GB of RAM to support fast and frequent file sharing between users, as well as multiple applications running simultaneously.

The NAS Pro server features SimplyRAID technology that is built into the NAS OS 4 software. This technology plus the six drives, offer more options for choosing between JBOD, RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10, which can provide performance, capacity, redundancy, or a combination of performance and redundancy. Moreover, it allows you to start storing files immediately after choosing your configuration, without waiting hours or days for the RAID volume to build. Connect the Seagate NAS Pro server to your network via the two Gigabit LAN ports or Windows, Mac, Linux systems via USB 3.0 or USB 2.0. By utilizing two LANs with failover and link aggregation with a convenient hot swappable spare support, ensures continual service in the event that one of the drives require replacement or a LAN fails unexpectedly.

For accessing files on the NAS Pro when on the go, Seagate includes Sdrive for PC, Mac, Android, and Apple OS devices. The Sdrive app for mobile devices offers enhanced security by encrypting the files before they leave the NAS and requires user credentials to decrypt and access the files. Within the App Manager in NAS OS 4, you can install apps that turn the NAS into a recording solution for IP cameras or an anti-virus app that can scan files and identify potential threats before it is too late. It also features NAS-to-NAS backup, which allows IT administrators to back up shares to other NAS devices on the network or a remote location over the Internet. Backing up over the Internet to a second Seagate NAS server provides offsite protection while retaining ownership of your data. Another feature is built-in iSCSI support, which offers performance and additional storage for servers and workstations on the network that supports IP SAN and NAS applications. Along with the Seagate 6-Bay NAS Pro server are a power cable and Ethernet cable.

Sdrive
The Seagate Sdrive is an intuitive way to connect to your NAS if you're away from the office and need to look for or grab a file. From any desktop or laptop, access your NAS by clicking the Sdrive icon (from Computer or Finder). Go ahead and drag-and-drop files, or search for that particular file and open it directly with its native application. From your smartphone, you can securely and easily access your files from the Sdrive as well.
