The clip scares me

I appreciate being able to purchase manufacturer replacement parts. The clips for our mics were long gone; I purchased two of these kits specifically so I could replace both the clips along with the windscreens. The cords wouldn't slide into the clip holders, and they're so tiny and rigid that I'm afraid I'll break them if I try to pry it open at all. That was disappointing. I also had a little trouble getting the windscreens on, but that may have been due to my own inexperience. The windscreens seem well-made and they fit snugly.

This isn't a reflection on B&H, in fact their customer service was great in trying to find other windscreens that fit the microphone. I don't know why Shure changed the windscreens. The hole is too small to fit over the PGA31 mic and the windscreen just doesn't fit right. Unfortunately there don't seem to be any other options. Very dissatisfied.
