The Orion Jr DVC50 4' Compact Camera Crane / Jib from ProAm USA is a compact camera crane ideal for stills or video with a DSLR or DV camera weighing up to 8 lb, allowing the user to reach difficult shots. The Orion Jr DVC50 holds DSLR cameras up to 12 lb while a larger extension plate makes it compatible with larger cameras, resting on a 3' extension from the fulcrum and 2' of adjustment. A stand or strong tripod (sold separately) can increase the height to 9'. This crane features auto-tilt for better horizontal control and a large friction knob to adjust the drag on the arm while tilting. It comes pre-assembled with no tools required and is constructed of scratch-resistant powder coated aluminum and a steel tripod mount.
This durable Stand Support from ProAm USA is a custom-built 4 to 6' tripod support that's designed specifically for the ProAm camera crane line of products and not intended for use with other crane brands. The aluminum stand can hold up to 100 lb and features 360° panning. It can be used with the 8 to 12' DVC210, 8 to 12' DVC200, DVC60, and DVC50 ProAm camera crane models.
Featuring a 480 x 234 resolution TFT LCD panel, this Iris 7" LCD Video Monitor from ProAm USA accepts standard-definition NTSC or PAL composite video sources for easy viewing. If your camera is mounted on a jib or a crane, a monitor is essential for checking your composition. This monitor is also useful mounted atop your camera. The 7" LCD provides more screen real estate than the LCDs available on most cameras. Having a larger screen makes it easier to check your composition as well as focus your camera's lens to ensure that your subject is consistently sharp.
The LCD panel is capable of displaying 16:9 footage as well as legacy 4:3 footage from older camcorders. You can also adjust the color, brightness, and contrast of the display to match your workflow. The mounting bracket itself is an L-bracket which secures to the side of the crane, while the included articulating ball mount secures the monitor to the L-bracket. The ball mount affixes to the bracket via a standard shoe mount, while the monitor is secured via the 1/4"-20 screw on top of the ball mount.
