question

Will this power a Sony HVR-S270? I'm not sure if I can use a 12V battery for the 270 or if it has to be a 14.4V.
Asked by: Todd
This battery may work with the Sony HVR-S270, however with the output being lower than the camera's needs I would not recommend it. For another solution IndiPRO tools has an inexpensive V-Mount Battery and Charger kit that you can use directly on the camera. This will work and it will be a bit more convenient to set up.

Can't really tell you how many hours it last, but I've used it (fully charged) for about 5 hours with BMCC with no problems at all, and still had battery to shoot more.

How long can a BMPCC4K run on this?
Asked by: Jake
This is a 98Wh battery, which is around 7 times higher capacity than the LP-E6 batteries the camera normally uses. You should expect to get 5-6 hours out of this battery depending on the shoot conditions and settings you use.

will this power and fint the 12v connection for the Blackmagic Video Assist 4K?
Asked by: greg
This battery solution can provide 12 volts which the Video Assist 4K can run off. The power plug is unfortunately not compatible with the Video Assist 4K. The Video Assist 4K uses a 2.5mm barrel port and this power cable can be considered to make the connection from the battery to the Video Assist 4k.
